Paardevlei Lifestyle Estate is a new residential estate by Balwin Property Group in Somerset West. To the north of the site lies restored family homes with a further row of semi-detached duplexes which are more contemporary in design while being respectful of their historic neighbours. To the south is a collection of apartment buildings with around 260 units comprising one-, two- and three-bedroomed apartments arranged around a series of courtyards with extensive residents parking and storage below ground.

The apartment complex sits outside of the historic core and its architectural language is much more contemporary.
